The university focuses on major scientific research innovations, optimizes its organizational models, strengthens team building and talent development, and continuously enhances its innovation capabilities. Over the past five years, it has won 378 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation, including 5 key projects. It has also secured 170 projects from the National Social Science Foundation, including 8 major bid projects, with annual project approvals ranking among the top 50 universities in China for 8 consecutive years.
