About JXNU

Jiangxi Normal University is a higher education institution jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province. It is also one of the universities supported by the Foundation Capacity Building Project for Higher Education Institutions in Central and Western China. JXNU integrates eleven major academic disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, medicine, and arts. JXNU is located in Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi Province, which boasts a profound historical and cultural heritage and is renowned for its rich natural resources and outstanding talents. JXNU exerts a significant influence on the political, economic, cultural, and social development of Jiangxi Province and has been designated by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province as a provincial key (normal) university prioritized for development. JXNU currently has two campuses, Yaohu Campus and Qingshanhu Campus, covering an area of over 233 hectares with a total building area exceeding 1.4 million square meters. In May 2025, JXNU was honored with the title of the Third National Civilized Campus.
