Poetry as a bridge, spanning mountains and seas. On June 5, the Poetry Connects the World Global Chinese Poetry Society Mangzhong Gathering, hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under China's Ministry of Education, concluded. JXNU's submitted short video, Chanting Together Across the World, Sharing Rhyme Among Famous Mountains, won the highest honor — the Poetic Elegance Award.

This event, themed Harmony Between Humanity and Nature, invited short video submissions from Chinese language and poetry enthusiasts worldwide. JXNU actively organized 84 international students from 11 countries, using Jiangxi's famous mountains as their theme. Through reciting classics such as Viewing the Waterfall at Mount Lu, they showcased the beauty of Jiangxi's landscapes and the charm of Chinese poetry to the world — demonstrating JXNU's solid achievements in international Chinese language education and cultural dissemination.

Four student representatives from JXNU — Gan Yue from Madagascar, Bai Xihua from Russia, Ruan Linh from Vietnam, and Lu Xin from Mexico — were invited to attend the award ceremony and shared their acceptance remarks. They said the award was the fruit of the collective effort of all 84 students. Learning Chinese gave them confidence and passion, and Chinese poetry is a brilliant gift that transcends time and space. Together, they pledged: Poetry connects the world, mountains and rivers bear witness; let us meet again through poetry in days to come!
