A short video featuring international students from our university has clinched the first prize in the inaugural Youth Perspective·Nanchang Lens Short Video Competition 2025, the results of which were recently announced.

Titled Singing of Nanchang, the award-winning entry stood out among 120 submissions in the contest. Organized by Nanchang Daily Press, the competition centered on the themes of Charming, Just, Safe, and Warm-hearted Nanchang, attracting participation from numerous professional teams and universities.

The winning piece ingeniously blends traditional Chinese rhythmic storytelling art, known as KuaiBan (fast clapper), with the rich historical heritage, vibrant urban energy, and diverse cultural landscape of Nanchang. Performed by a group of our students from Russia, Mexico, Indonesia, Myanmar, Madagascar, and Vietnam, the piece combines crisp rhythms and lyrical verses to express genuine affection for the Heroic City. It also reflects the performers' own sense of belonging and pride in Nanchang.
