On the morning of December 5, BALABKINA OLGA, the Vice President of the Government of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic of Russia, along with INGNATEVA SARGYLANA, the President of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts, and their delegation, visited JXNU. Academician Chen Fen'er, the President of JXNU, met with the guests in the First Reception Room of Zhixing Building. Li Yuqiang, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, and Dong Shenghong, a member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, accompanied the meeting, while leaders from relevant functional departments and colleges of the university also attended.

Chen Fen'er extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation from the Government of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic of Russia and provided a brief introduction to JXNU's fundamental situation and distinctive educational features in talent cultivation, scientific research, and international cooperation. He pointed out that JXNU places great emphasis on exchanges and cooperation with educational and scientific research institutions in Russia, noting that the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic is rich in resources and possesses a unique culture. He hoped that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further expand areas of cooperation with the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts, deepen collaboration in talent cultivation, academic research, cultural and artistic exchanges, and jointly make significant contributions to promoting cultural exchanges between China and Russia and regional development.
BALABKINA OLGA expressed her gratitude for JXNC's warm reception and affirmed its educational achievements. She stated that the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic is actively promoting economic, social, cultural, and educational development, and looks forward to establishing close ties with JXNC in areas such as higher education, scientific research, and cultural preservation and inheritance. She hoped to jointly explore new models of inter-university cooperation and contribute to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Russia, as well as enhancing friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

JXNC signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts.
In the afternoon,INGNATEVA SARGYLANA and her delegation held a discussion with the leaders of the School of Foreign Languages and the School of Music to deliberate on specific cooperation matters; the delegation also visited the university history museum together.
