JXNU Vice - President Led a Delegation to the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference

From November 14 to 16, the 2025 World Chinese Conference, themed Innovation Leads, Digital and Intelligent Empowerment—Bringing Chinese Closer with Zero Distance, was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Education and co-organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, the China International Chinese Language Education Foundation, and the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. Zhou Lisheng, vice president of JXNU, also a member of the Party committee's Standing Committee, led a delegation comprising relevant department and college heads from the university to attend the conference.

 

During the conference, Zhou Lisheng engaged in discussions with Rivoarison Randrianasolo, President of the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar, and Yu Lan, the foreign dean of the Confucius Institute at the same university, as well as Shandi, the foreign dean of the Confucius Institute at Al-Quds University in Palestine. They reached a consensus on further promoting comprehensive and high-level cooperation between our university and the partner universities of these Confucius Institutes.

 At the conference, the Confucius Institute at the University of Antananarivo, which is jointly established by JXNU, and the Confucius Institute in Mexico City were both honored as Outstanding HSK Test Centers for 2025. Additionally, Rivoarison Randrianasolo, President of the University of Antananarivo, delivered a keynote speech titled Indigenous Chinese Language Education Models and Experiences in Madagascar at a parallel forum.
