27 students of our school who got Confucius institute scholarship or provincial government scholarship came to White Deer Grotto Academy and Donglin monastery for a culture investigation.
In the White Dear Grotto Academy,one of the China’s four major academies. Foreign students visited five courtyard,and listened the history of the academy having a close distance to sense the culture of China’s special academy. Then,students visited White Deer cave,and learned about the history of it. Through this visit ,they had a new understanding about status of the White Dear Grotto Academy in Chinese education and cultural development.
Donglin monastery is the birthplace of Buddhism where students visited the three palaces of it. In the peaceful and free Buddhist atmosphere,students admired the dignified unique architectures and secluded natural environment and had a more intuitive understanding of the Buddhist concept.
